This time at Stuttgart Messe we are going to present the new version of vo—ce software compatible not only with Windows mobile computers, but also with Google Glass and other Android devices.
Still loyal to the “hands free” concept and appreciated both by warehouse operators and Supply Chain managers, Itworks develops an application which combines the advantages guaranteed by voice technology and data exchange (images, video, etc) with Smart Glasses. All this is integrated with your WMS or ERP.
Like the previous versions of the software, this Android-based application runs on ASR and TTS engines from Nuance and has all the functions of the last vo—ce version: “check digit”, a number of protocols support, etc. At the same time the device running vo—ce is connected to a monocular display with integrated HD camera. It is, thus, possible to take pictures, make high-definition videos and read barcodes confirming the item to be picked. The operator can save the captured data in the device memory or transfer it in real time. Such powerful system, light and ergonomic, is perfect for Supply Chain processes: from data collection in shop floor to order preparation for the stores.
