vo-ce, the multivendor voice picking software developed by Itworks for WMS and ERP, will be represented by the Nitica software house in the French territory, starting from November 2009.
The trade distribution of the voice solution gains a new country. The company Nitica, Auto ID solutions leader in the french market and system integrator of logistic solutions, adapts vo-ce to its WMS Nilo, program for the stocks management, that allows the real time control of flow operations. Nilo interfaces with barcode labels printers, barcode wearable and vehicle mount computers.
vo-ce, will be present as one of the solutions provided by Nitica, in Paris November 25-26 at the Salon of the trackability and RFID solutions for the industry, the distribution and logistic environments.
With vo-ce solution, no additional middleware is required for voice picking with wireless devices.
vo-ce enables Microsoft CE.Net Wi-Fi devices to be easily and quickly equipped with ASR (automatic speech recognition) and TTS (text to speech) engines from Nuance for direct integration with WMS or ERP solutions.
The software has been installed in Italy as well as abroad, in different industrial markets like pharmaceutical, retail, fashion, food, and manufacturing. The vo-ce application is typically used for high volume picking, and the simplicity of the software and the training make it easier to adapt the new picking procedures in your warehouse.
Itworks has almost 1500 active picking operators all over Europe using vo-ce. The primary customers are software houses or companies operating in the supply chain that offer the added value of a native integration voice picking solution to the customers. Itworks distribution partners are located in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, Russia, Czech Republic and South Africa. The software is available in Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Russian and Swedish.
At the end of the year 2009, Itworks will release a new version of the vo-ce 2.0 DLL. The new version will have the ultimate Nuance engines and new expression rules, as confirmation of the ongoing tech improvement of Itworks.
