Camst Distribution Center manages every logistic process with WMS SiGEP by GEP Informatica. The warehouse works according to the load requirements of the vehicles. Every order processed by the system is divided by storage area (dried, fresh, frozen). Operators are guided by system, via RF. After picking, the operator checks the line with RF gun.

The role of vo-ce

Voice picking technology is introduced in dry area. vo—ce is integrated into WMS. The Company decides to experiment with voice technology in the frozen warehouse and starts a project in fresh area, where there are difficulties due to variable weights. The partnership between LXE, a division of EMS Technologies and part of Honeywell Scanning & Mobility, and GEP Informatica allows the development of a technical solution suitable to satisfy all Camst operational requirements for product handling activities. The Company chooses LXE HX2 wearable devices. For traditional operations, however, chooses LXE Tecton/Tecton CS and MX8 devices.
